The farm and the animals

Life quality is the key-word of our work. We care about the environment and assume the responsibility of preserving the cultural environment. It is very important to us that the animals live their lives in the most natural way possible.

We are working a lot to restaure the farm to the way it was before 1950, the fields and the pastures and we rebuild old wooden fences and stone walls etc.

We mostly live on the produce of the farm. We have horses, sheep, hens, pigs and one cow. We grow vegetables and crops.

In the farming labour we use horses instead of tractors. We have a special intrest in crafthorses especially the old Swedish pony "gotlandsruss". We have three mares who have foals every year and some colts. We also have two big Ardenners carthorses, called Frey and Klara-Fina.
