Welcome to Allmogegården in Tolarp! We are a small family farm run by Bengt and Maria. We run the farm in the spirit of the traditional way, with Nature and not against it. In contrast to factory farms, we don´t seek production and quantity but quality of life. In most of our farming labour we use horses instead of tractors.

We have a special interest in the old Swedish pony "gotlandsruss" and other draft horses. In addition we also raise sheep, chickens and pigs. We treat all our animals with respect and care unlike facorty farms where animals are treated as objects. We see our animals as part of the family, providing us with food and a source of income. In the summer, we have a small guest house that we rent to visitors. Where we can lodge 8 persons. We can offer you a valuable experience with a close, relaxed and natural contact with the animals and country life.

We also welcome groups of schoolchildren and adults for guided tours and rural activities.
